Michelle Kasprzak

Biography

Michelle Kasprzak is an established contributor to the field of digital cultures, urban commons and social innovation as a curator, educator, artist and writer. Michelle has curated exhibitions and public programmes for organisations such as Future Flux Festival, V2_ Institute for Unstable Media, the Dutch Electronic Art Festival, ZERO1 Biennial and others. Her writing has appeared in HOLO, Volume, Public, Spacing, Rhizome and numerous exhibition catalogues. Currently, Michelle is Postdoctoral Researcher at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and guest curator for the 2023 edition of the Noorderlicht International Photo Festival, a biennale for the three northern provinces of the Netherlands. She recently received a grant from the Creative Industries Fund NL to examine the contentious world of NFTs through the development of a platform for research and experimentation.
