Aude Launay

Biography

Aude Launay is a philosopher. Since 2016, her research focus has been on distributed decision-making through algorithmic processes and blockchain-based democratic systems. Prior to this, she extensively wrote about and curated exhibitions of art that interferes with the power mechanisms underpinning governance structures. Recently, her writing has appeared in books such as Between the Material and the Possible: Infrastructural Re-examination and Speculation in Art (Sternberg Press, 2022), The Great Offshore (UV, 2021), and L’art et l’argent (Éditions Amsterdam, 2021). She is currently writing a political philosophy book on DAOs and producing a Web3 education programme together with EBB&.
