Aksioma

Aksioma – Institute for Contemporary Art, Ljubljana is a non-profit cultural institution based in Ljubljana (Slovenia) interested in projects that utilise new technologies in order to investigate and discuss the structures of modern society.
Over the last ten years Aksioma has grown from producing individual projects to organising and producing an annual programme of events inside and outside gallery spaces, at home and abroad. It also runs Aksioma | Project Space with a focus on artistic practices that hack the role of mass media in society and interpret its narratives through a subversive, critical and ironic manner.

Drugo More


Drugo More (the Other Sea) is a non-profit organization working in the field of contemporary arts & culture. Since its inception in 1999, the organisation has been running a dynamic programme centred around a close engagement with the overlap between art and wider social and political concerns. The engagement of the organisation is three-fold, spanning across the local, national and international, with a marked focus on building bridges across and cross-cultural dialogues between these levels. A small but dynamic team maintains a high level of production with a programme which encompasses exhibitions, seminars, festivals, performances, workshops.

Furtherfield

Furtherfield is a not-for-profit organisation. Through artworks, labs and debate around arts and technology, people from all walks of life explore today’s important questions. The urban green space of London’s Finsbury Park, where Furtherfield’s Gallery and Lab are located, is now a platform for fieldwork in human and machine imagination – addressing the value of public realm in our fast-changing, globally connected and uniquely superdiverse context. An international network of associates use artistic methods to interrogate emerging technologies to extend access and grasp their wider potential. In this way new cultural, social and economic value is developed in partnership with arts, research, business and public sectors.

Institute of Network Cultures

The  Institute of Network Cultures is a research group at the faculty of Digital Media and Creative Industries at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. It was founded in 2004 by Geert Lovink and focusses on the establishment of sustainable research networks on online culture. Emerging critical topics are identified and shaped in a practical sense. Interdisciplinary in character, the INC brings together researchers, artists, activists, programmers, designers, students and teachers. The INC analyzes and shapes the terrain of network cultures through events, publications, and online dialogue. Its projects evolve around digital publishing, alternative revenue models, online video and design, digital counter culture and much more.

NeMe


NeMe is a non profit, Cyprus registered cultural NGO founded in November 2004. NeMe works on three platforms – a virtual, a permanent and an itinerant one – and focuses on contemporary theories and their intersection with the arts. The NeMe Arts Centre (NAC), NeMe’s exhibition space, aims to promote a critical and interdisciplinary approach to the arts focused on research and cultural production. NeMe supports and engages in initiatives and dialogue that involve institutions, collectives, artists, and researchers from the local and international communities and it aims to promote discourse of socially engaged arts practice by providing opportunities to work contextually in a variety of public spaces, including urban environments and community locations.
