Vendar to nikoli ni bila celotna zgodba. Mnogi antropologi namre\u010d trdijo, da smo ljudje edina bitja z zmo\u017enostjo izmi\u0161ljanja zgodb, ki nimajo neposredne povezave s fizi\u010dno resni\u010dnostjo, in verovanja vanje. Ko se vse bolj poglabljamo v digitalna okolja, podatki delujejo manj kot fotoaparat in bolj kot motor, ki sveta ne bele\u017ei, temve\u010d ga ustvarja. S tem ko postreprezentacijski podatki postajajo vse pomembnej\u0161i, vpra\u0161anje ni ve\u010d, kaj podatki so, temve\u010d kaj opravljajo.
