Welcome to the post-post-post-truth AI world. You know it\u2019s not real. But you find yourself making out with bots and shoes. And there is more out there. ASMR is distracting you from a slightly higher priority: survive. The future is going to be weird AF.

We live in a time of great ambiguity and confusion. Events keep happening that seem unreal and out of control. Emotional advertising is intruding on our deepest feelings. Millionaires are hiding at the bottom of the Earth, while the rest of humankind is trapped in a mediated reality, where love is constantly intercepted by emotional advertising, robots, sock puppets, and ASMR illusions of pleasure.

All around them, the world is burning. While watching the decay of the internet with a cool detachment, only one thing remains certain: \u201cFakes are among us, and the future ahead will be weird as fuck.\u201d

The short film is inspired by the work of Adam Curtis, actually introduced by his synthetic voice, made with the generative AI text-to-speech and voice cloning software ElevenLabs. Like Adam Curtis\u2019s original documentary series, the movie is a compilation of archival materials, collected from the endless source of news and oddities that the internet still is.
