Janez Janša®

Leta 2007 so se trije slovenski umetniki včlanili v konservativno Slovensko demokratsko stranko (SDS) in se uradno preimenovali v Janeze Janše. Preimenovali so se sicer iz osebnih razlogov, toda ločnice med njihovimi življenji in njihovo umetnostjo so se začele brisati na številne in nepredvidene načine.
Janez Janša® – katalog antološke razstave, ki jo pripravil kustos Domenico Quaranta in je bila leta 2017 na ogled v Muzeju sodobne umetnosti Metelkova (+MSUM) v Ljubljani – predstavlja izčrpen pregled del in projektov Janeza Janše, Janeza Janše in Janeza Janše v zadnjem desetletju, ki so večinoma nastali kot kolateralni učinki preimenovanja in drugih z njim povezanih življenjskih dogodkov. Publikacija zastavlja nekaj univerzalnih vprašanj o identiteti v dobi biopolitke in o umetnosti v dobi informacij, zgodbo Janezov Janš pa popelje v prihodnost z najavo registracije imena Janez Janša kot blagovne znamke za naslednje desetletje.
